Hi everyone. This is one of my recent finds. It is a linen maxi skirt with floral embroidery and zips up with a metal zipper. Does it look 60s or 70s?

Hi, Thank you. I think it is too heavy to be gauze, I think it might be muslin instead of linen.

Early to mid '70s - I agree that it looks like cheesecloth. I haven't heard of a fabric that looks like that but is heavier, I guess it could be a kind of crinkled cotton.

This is simply called crinkle cotton. Many fabrics can be treated to get this crinkled effect, from gauze to wool. And with those colors, it's 70s. Very pretty!

Love wrinkled cotton gauze and remember it well.

Love, love, love, love the fabric resource. Thanks to all the people involved in bringing this to us.

I guess that would be jumbo, elephant or widewale corduroy from the look of your example and what you've said. Thank you for your help! The great part about this resource is that it can be updated and improved as we go along. I'm off to add to the corduroys.
