60s or 70s on this home made dress?

The fabric looks 60s to me but I can't decide if the dress design is more 70s, I suspect it might be a hotch potch from different patterns as it doesn't quite work to my eye (particularly how the collar doesn't meet), love to know your thoughts please. It has a 40's style fabric over teeth invisible side zip that fastens bottom to top so that doesn't help much.

I agree with '70s for this one - those big collars that didn't meet were popular in the mid to late '70s, and I'm sure I don't need to mention how in love they were with chocolate brown.

In '77 my mum went and bought me a chocolate brown skivvy but when she got it home we realised it was black. Quelle horror! Only "bad girls" work black - rough and violent local subcultures like Rockers. I was far too young to wear the colour - so she took it back and exchanged it.
