60s shift dress - information?

I am attending a interesting auction tomorrow and saw this photo online and thought I would bid on the dress. It's a neat dress - can anyone offer any kind of information on the style and history?

its done in a Warhol-esche style, and that's Don Knotts and James Garner and Liz Taylor and Paul Newman....and is that Shirley Maclaine? i'd guess around post 60s/70s...but that's just a guess...

does the site offer any labels for you to investigate??

Is it perhaps Louis Féraud?
I have a somewhat similar Pop print tank, that was part of a set, and yesterday when I was out shopping, I saw the matching overshirt part of the set, at a new vintage store in town.

That's a paper dress. According to trendhunder.com, it is part of a Paper Fashion Exhibit and "is a Promotional paper dress of Universal Studios with ‘pop’ portraits of the Studios popular stars, USA 1968."

Oh, wow! Thanks for all the input! I think I'll try bidding on it, but I guess I should do some research on value and such. Auctions are kinda scary for me lol.
