70s blouse... What are these animals?

From good old Kmart comes this larger size vintage sleeveless blouse. But what are these animals? They look for familiar. Thank you!

They look like deer in a medieval style. Though I'm not sure why they have 3 ears!

I thought of William Morris too. The Arts & Crafts movement used medieval art as inspiration.

I figured it was some sort of deer or antelope or whatever but it was stylized in such a way that I knew I had seen it before. Medieval and/or William Morris style is, I believe, what I was searching for. Thanks!
