I've already shown the black dress in another thread, I bought that last October. The rust-colored one I bought last weekend in Vienna - on my 15 minute-spree at Humana on Neubaugasse (anybody ever going to Vienna - let me know, I'll tell you all about those secondhand shops! :spin: ).
And they're sort of similar in style, though there are quite a few differences. The basic shape is about the same, and with both of them, only the skirt has a lining.
Now I've been looking at them asking myself where to put them age-wise, and I feel like I'm having a bit of a brain-fart moment here... 70s? 80s?
The black dress is made of a sort of chiffon-like fabric, has an elasticized waist and a side zip. And there's an interesting trim on the collar and the cuffs. No labels though. But there are two belt loops made of thread on the sides, so there would originally have been belt there to go with it.
And this is the dress from last weekend. It's got a very swingy skirt, which is lovely ;) . It has the zip in the back, and a care label, that's also marked "Trevira", but that I think is only a trademark name for Polyester fabric. The fabric is textured and slightly see-through.
So, that's it - I'd love to hear your opinions! Sorry for the bad pics of myself... just took the opportunity this morning when it was just light enough, thanks to the snow outside...
