Hi, I'm in the process of setting up my first proper vintage store, specialising in cool, urban 80s pieces. Does anyone have any leads for sources and wholesalers, I have a few but am keen to find the best quality and variety. Thank you!:sunshine:

Around here, 80's dresses & separates are very easy to come by in all the thrifts--not only the "everyday" styles, but the over-the-top party styles, punk, etc. I've seen a lot of it in antiques & collectibles co-ops, too.

Can you provide more details regarding the styles, price range and number of items you are looking for at the present?

Take a look at our selection of 80s dresses.

Nelda's 80s Dresses.

We have a nice selection and I can offer dealer pricing if you are interested several items.

I have several sources 80s clothing so I am sure we can supply you with what you need in the future as well as the present.

I'm in awe that 80's in vintage. Do you guys consider 90's vintage? Just curious!

Love those taffetta bubble dresses, Nelda! I remember those! Where do people wear them these days? I'd love a good excuse to buy these again! LOL.

nostalgic*collections,

I don't consider 90s vintage, but I do get alot of request from my customers for 90s clothing, mostly designer clothing.

Where do people taffetta bubble dresses? Mostly to special events, parties, to work and if they really what to get noticed....just about anywhere. :headbang:

nostalgic*collections,

heeheee, last winter I bought two short party/cocktail dresses from the 80s, all ruched and with bows etc. - black and bright pink. I always loved that style, being a kid of those years. I just thought that they're fun, and I've already worn one to a family Christmas party (it's velvet and taffeta). My best friend's verdict is that I look like a wrapped present in them ;).

Karin - Ooooh, how exciting! Velvet and taffeta - Yeah! Love the black and pink combo.

I'm dying to find one that fits me now. I kept all my old ones but can't squeeze into them. Maybe New Years... Halloween, even.... The planning has begun...
