80\'s doing 50s/60s or straight up 50s/60?

God, I really hate selling the stuff that doesn't sell! Ugh! Anyway, there's something I really like about this 2 piece, which is why I grabbed it in the first place. It's got the remainder of a paper tag, pinked seams & heavy black metal zipper at the back. Also, the buttons are old. But I can't tell for sure - help!
Also, what would good kw's be?

Is that a scarf with buttons on it or does the jacket/top have a very faux scarf look and the buttons really open teh front of the top...very intriguing...

The scarf thing is weird. If the top is buttoned, with the scarf loose, well, it has 2 big holes sewn into the one part to make it go over the buttons as well. I just took the other side and knotted it at the collar since that's what seemed needed done.
Thanks for the kw's Holis & Noir! Awesome!

Also, is this wayyyyyyyyyyy to "fall" to sell now?

definitely old and very smart. I love it. It is more Autumn time really but unlike most people, I buy anything I like no matter what time of year! why not try the word "preppy" which there seems to be a big market for and looks like its only getting stronger.

On ebay, August is considered fall. that is when folks start looking, but I agree with if you want to move it and don't want to try to "market time it", there is never a time like the present. It is money in the pocket sooner even if it is not the maximum amount and that counts for something
