Three generations of women from the same family have all worn the same wedding dress to get married, and all believe that the vintage lace gown has played at least a small part in guaranteeing them happiness in their relationships.

The wedding dress was first worn by Helene Gryzwinski, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when she married her husband Chester in 1947, followed by their daughter Cindy Kost, who married her own husband Denny 40 years ago. And by the time their daughter Jackie was preparing to walk down the aisle with her husband Eric Fiterman in 2010, there was never any doubt in her mind as to which dress she would wear.
