I found this great black velvet hat with a black band and bow with a rhinestone center. I know that it is a Italian hat. Someone told me that it might be from the 40s but I am having trouble finding anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From what I can tell from the photos, your hat dates from the late 1950s to early 1960s period. It is a lovely hat and of good quality materials. The fur-felt material was made in Italy, but the hat was made here in the USA.
