I have got WAY too much going on with this picutre, right?

First the dress is way to big for Chole, it is size 20 and I believe has an higher wasit, maybe not quite an empire style and the hem should fall about mid thigh.

I know I can never be like mamastone vintage but how can I portray this dress to get the big $$$ like she does!

I was afraid if I used black tights that would clash with the black boots..I have a pair of cream vinyl boots but I could not get them on her, they would not slide on with the textured tights.

This is a great dress, acetate and nylon with a ruffled hem...matter of fact I just found a big garbage bag under my basement steps with a bunch of them in styles like this in large sizes!

So what should I do?

that's cute! you can photosop to make the stockings just a bit more muted if you want. For a dress like this one - i would be tempted to show it like this and show am alternate shot with it pinned up so someone could see what it looked like hemmed.

What should you do - you should show us those dresses! I want to see them! :)

Well I just called my sister and told her to come over to my house after work and I am going to see how they look on me! It kills me because I had a great pair of 70's boots with a high heel and I can not find them anywhere!!

I am 5'9" and were a size 14/16 so hopefully I will be able to model them...though I may have to dig out one of my vintage all in one girdles!
