I am Sorry I have not shared this with you until now I been a little busy.

I had run out of foundation so I decided to go looking for some more, Ladies at cosmetic counter are always nice so more so than others , I do appreciate it is hard for them when I ask for foundation knowing if it is for me or my wife/ girl friend etc and not wanting to offend, they normally think the latter until I say It's for me.

Any how I decided this time to try and drop more than a hint by wearing full make up , eye liner, eye shadow, lipstick etc, going fully made up and see what happened.....

Walking up to the counter I said i was interested in some foundation and the young lady instantly said " for you" which of course it was the opposite of what normall said to me , the lady when through her normal routine about the products then dropped the bomb shell by saying I can colour mat you down here if you wish or take you into a private room and do it there,
I jumped at this opportunity and said yes please, after a little time arranging this she took me off to the room, on the way she said that after colour matching me if I wished she do my full face.
What a opportunity i could not miss and how very nice of her,
She took off my present foundation I was wearing, then tried a few shades onto my cheek and finally did my whole face about 3/4 of a hour nothing was too much trouble,
What made it special was that she did not once ask why I wore makeup or make any distinction from how I imagined she would treat a lady.
For me that's what made it special, I bought some foundation from her not for that reason but I really wanted some and the advice seamed to match what another lady had told me in a different shop.

So yes in the real world apart from here there are some nice people!

By the way this lady was a Dior employee they must still put service first !LOL

What a great experience! And it shows real class! My experience is, that usually happens if you go for the really big names - they know how to treat people. The snobby ones are usually those who only *think* they're oh-so grand, but not the really great ones.

I walked into the Chopard boutique here in Zurich as a 16-year old, wearing torn jeans and carrying my school backpack, asking to have one hole in an earlobe shot (I was a trainee then, and that boutique happened to be the nearest jewelery shop on the way from business school to work). It was lunchtime, and there were three expensive-looking ladies in there who had nothing to do - no other clients in the shop. I'd just been looking for a jewelery shop and only realized where I was when I had stepped inside. Anyway, I was treated in the nicest possible manner - for something that cost about $10 and took them just a few minutes to do. ;)
