I LOVE this dress, super tissue thin silk with little
squares of velvet(?) - it is not devore or burnout though...
anyone know what this treatment is called?

Lined in silk and a lot of the stitching is hand done on this.
Small zippers at the sleeve hems

Anyway - going up tonight on Ebay......

The 'collar' extends to two sheer scarf long scarf ends that hang down each side of the back.

Wow, Sue! That is really fabulous.

Are the velvet squares appliqued? I keep scrolling down to look at it, it is SO gorgeous! Is the pattern like stylized peacock feathers?

This should be a BIG winner!

I'm going to see if I can get a pic of the silk today that will show
the squares - they are woven right into the pattern, however have a
plushness...like a short nap velvet - very soft (and again has to be
silk).
