A little help with this Harrods tartan mac

I am having difficulty dating this vintage mac. It has the feel and the label of something from around the mid 20th century but the sleeves are long enough to reach my hands. I haven't got my normal mannequin to get the full effect and I am too big to model it.
The belt has a loop, maybe done later or missing the other bit?
Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't think it's that early - I would place it between the 60's-80's on what I can see so far the military brass dome buttons featured on coats from these era, as did tartan. I would have 80's straight off except the use of wording rather than care symbols may place it earlier.
I think the belt loop is original - just to keep the belt attached when unfastened - that you can unbutton the loop is a quality touch. It is more common to have a few loops so I would inspect the waistline to see if there were more once.
Are the sleeves lined in the last few inches? They are perhaps designed to be worn turned up. How long are they? If you have narrower shoulders than the garment they can seem longer.
Can you show it laid flat in good light so we can see the shaping and construction? That may help to place it.

Thank you Melanie. It just doesn't feel like something made as late as the 80's, when you touch it that is. I would have said more 60's or 70's. Most items made in Switzerland for Harrods seem to be 60's, including raincoats. It's hard to capture it's true colour but it shows more red than blue in the photos.
The length of the shoulders is 5.5 inches, the length of the sleeves from the shoulder is 22.5inch and the gap from the cuff to the lining is 1 inch. I have broad shoulders by the way.
This is the best light I could get at home today.
I hope this helps :)

I would've said it's early to mid 70s. The length and the front pockets look 70s, though the three-space-three buttons looks more 60s. Cute coat!

Edited to add: whoops, I thought the pockets were big patch pockets but obviously I made that up! Maybe right around 1970?
