A Mink Jacket Question

I am getting ready to list this mink jacket which I am guessing is 60's. After taking the photos I found a "fur label authority label" inside a pocket with the number - m217496. Does that mean anything special? Do you think it's important to photograph the label as well. (sigh.)

That is a lovely mink, Amanda. Are the pelts softer than usual, it may be female pelts which are better quality than the male ones.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with that fur authority label which might have something to do with the dating of the item.

Pretty jacket, Amanda! And it looks to be a very pale color, which seems to be scarcer and more desirable?

I'm not sure what the numbers on the label mean, but I believe the labels started in the early 50s. Showing the label will "prove" it's real fur, though I don't think anyone would mistake your jacket for faux...

Beautiful jacket. Agree with the others that it should sell well due to color and quality. I don't think you need to photograph the fur authority label but it's a good idea to site it. Best of luck with it!
