Got a wonderful treat in the mail today--a gem of a book on shopping for vintage fashion, authored by none other than VFGer Melody Fortier (of Tangerine Boutique)!
It is beautifully designed and written, full of tips on everything from sizing and care to dating and pricing, and BRIMMING with eye-candy (in addition to the pics of fab vintage garments, the pages at the beginning of each chapter showcase an amazing vintage fabric in closeup). There are many, many useful guides throughout (including a great reference to "where to shop" nationwide!).
And, best of all, several of the great "Expert Tips" in it are also authored by VFGers!
So...if you haven't already done so, get yourself over to Melody's website and order yourself a copy!
