A new vintage magazine

thank you for the link....

looks very interesting...

i have never subscribed to on- line magazines before.

so i think this one will be my first...

That's less than $11.00 US per year.

Not bad...

I got the email too.

Speaking of it being "in", just did an email interview for a local university's fashion magazine and the main questions were all about how "trendy" vintage is.

I pointed out its always been in style to dress as an individual and appreciate good design, its just that people are more aware now because of the internet. It rubbed me wrong.

Looks like it would be interesting, but I have a problem with digital
magazines.....I don't like the format. I like to flip the pages and feel the paper. Weird that way.

(I posted this, reread it and thought it sounded bitchy - it isn't meant to be at all. Just a personal preference).

Maybe they don't have a way to let you look at individual issues but rather the subscription is time period based - you have access to all of their online material for the year versus having access to only certain issues perhaps.

Sue - I'm with you - a book should be a book, not a screen... we are just getting old and crotchety, that's all! And Ang - I also agree... I have been buying and selling vintage since 1977...

Count me in. I'm old and crotchety... thats true but I bet most vintage lovers, young or old, prefer a real live magazine to a screen. It's that thing for the tactile that we all share.

As for that "Vintage is trendy" business all I can say is.... silly people....I've been hooked since the early 70s when my grandmother let me have all her 40s clothes! Vintage is so much more than trendy it's timeless.
