A New Workshop!

September 7th will be the final workshop in the Fashionable Summer series and the date has just been added. Fitting as Labor Day is viewed as the end of summer at least on this side of the pond/border.

One of our trade members, Joanne, better known as Gilo49, will be giving us a look at Grenier of Montreal, a premier foundation and lingerie maker. Joanne has an extensive collection as well as has a connection to the grandson of the founder (he's 86!).

I hope you are looking forward to this as much as I am!

Also, there is one date change, the workshop on Madame Alix Gres has been moved up to July 26th.

The calendar will be updated to reflect this, but just wanted you all to be the first to know!

And we have one more...the 9th has been filled!

August 9 - A Fashionable Summer: Prue Acton - presented by trade member Maureen Valdes Marsh of Vintage Grace. Prue was known as "Australia's Mary Quant" - all at the tender age of 19. Take a glimpse at a designer fairly unknown outside of her native Australia, but highly regarded at home for her bold mix of clashing colors and artistic designs.

we are now complete! anything else is just icing on the cake
