when Makana first started out, he would walk the beaches with his guitar slung over his shoulder, and if there was a group of people partying/gathered for the sunset, he would politely ask if he could play a song. one time we were celebrating something (it was Wednesday, whatever...) and he came over and joined us...he plays beautifully, has the voice of an angel, and has been a favorite ever since.
anyway, it was neat to get this email, and if you happen to be in the NY or DC area, i would HIGHLY recommend checking him out, he gives an incredible live concert
