A Question about Shipping rates

Have any of you ever shipped a pair of shoes from the US to Australia?

It just seems the rates quoted on the usps website are on the high side.

1st Class is about $13.00 & Priority Int'l is about $30.00.

Just pickin' your experienced brains.

Leisa, that is par for the course, and the rates have been slated to increase in the New Year too. I ship shoes there from time to time... Could even be a bit more on the lower side of things.

Leisa, I recommend that you ship them 1st class - priority international seems to take the same amount of time so there's no value in the extra cost.

I used to buy a lot of shoes from US ebayers and the postage is a killer: but don't worry, your buyer should have experience in this area and not be surprised.
