My sister when last week to buy a new dress for a wedding she took her husband along for a second opinion.
My Sis knows her husband all to well and he is very negative about shopping and especially clothes shopping she when on her own first to narrow down the choose to just a few dresses in two shops.
The next day she dragged her husband into the shop to give his opinion on the dress to her, fair enough I think, knowing that she had to be very quick in the changing room or dear husband will wonder off into another shop which is more interesting to him at least, she come out with this new dress on from the changing room only to find but not unexpected no sight of her husband.
Slightly annoyed at this after she told him not to move she looked further around the shop to find Mr was with the shop assistants building up a new display, he was up the top of the ladder with a hammer in his hand putting the nails into the wall to hang a cord on to hold the new range of dresses etc.
No one really explained how this all came about, and my sister did find a new dress in the next shop so all was well, I think in that shop she gave her husband even tighter orders this time, not only about NOT going out of the shop but also NOT to get involved in any thing at all and to wait outside the changing room.
