4 dresses arrived yesterday. And in a new development for me, I actually did all the sewing work on them last night. Yes - within 24 hours! As soon as they came out of the box. It's a first! I always let things 'age' a bit more before sewing. It's a tradition.

Mainly, it's anything to avoid steaming when the humidity is high.
 
You are starting a new tradition! I try and do this with clothes I buy for myself that need repairs. I just know if I don't do it straight away the thing could sit there for years before I make it wearable. Hmm, yes, I should do this with my stock as well...
