OK.... mens/womens? I think art smock every time I see it, or is it just a hippie blouse? The only tag is an L. Would you call it folk art? It is done on a muslin fabric. Would this be 60's the type of embroidery makes me think earlier.

Thanks!

hmmm...would have to see what the tag looked like to say for sure about age.

You are right though, i would think art smock too because of the pockets. I would gues ladies.

Actually I can see a guy wearing it.

Maybe it's just because the collar reminds me of some South American Indian (men's) shirts, not to mention being vaguely reminiscent of those 'Mao' shirts. That said, the sleaves are a bit short for a guy and the embroidery would challenge all but the most die hard hippy dude. lol

I can see what you are seeing...

A lot of south american shirts have a lot of embroidery on them and are men's. The detail on the cuffs made me think away from it though.

I am leaning towards 70s on this one, maybe early, and I think it was worn with bell bottoms. Be sure to put mandarin collar in title.

...looks very mexican to me ...l wore similar one when lived there.... a tad demeaning in this so very pc world...but we called them peasant tops...right over left is womens wear fastening......

Lovin' this one! I'd say women's because of the ruffled gathering at the sleeves, and I'd stake my life on late 60's/early 70's hippie wear. The large patch pockets lean me toward the 70's. This would easily have doubled as an art smock in the psychedelic art world!
