I am seeking information about the Abby Kent Dress Company in the late 1930s, 1940s, and early 1950s. My grandfather founded the company about 1936. He sold the company in about 1954. Key to the growth were their models of shirtwaist dresses. With WW2, women entered the workforce more, and those women working in offices needed everyday dresses. Beyond that, I do not know much. Does anyone have any information about the company? Thanks
