Found these awesome boots, but need help dating and determining value. Stamped Abercrombie &Fitch New York City. Tall riding, cavalry style with canvas pull strap and leather buckle.

For help dating please can you take the photos in daylight, as the photo quality is too poor to make out the necessary details as they are at the moment.
I would recommend showing the whole boot so we can see the height and shape and how the leather strap and buckle are used. The boot I can see appears to be missing a pull loop on the inside leg (from the darker leather patch and stitch holes visible), the sort used with boot pull hooks.
