Adolf Schulman for Lilli Ann fur. Is it mink or Muskrat?

hello I’m looking for some clarification on my grandmothers fur coat. She always said it was mink, now 18 years since her death I wonder if it is indeed mink.

The label says Adolf Schulman for Lilli Ann made in England.

I have a photo attached of all the markings I can find. By the look and feel of the interior lining I wonder if is faux fur. Would be hilarious if after all these years nana was lying to us.

Can you help discern if fake, mink or muskrat?

Thank you sooo much. My 86 year old mother is flabbergasted that her mother fibbed. Now it’s gonna be our family joke.

What was the determining factor for why you think it’s faux? My guess was the interior lining feels like burlap.

Yes, the lining gives it away. It appears to be imitating two or even three types of fur. It looks like mink for the collar and bottom of the coat. The body of the coat has a sheared look, perhaps sheared mink or beaver, not quite sure what the sleeves are supposed to be like, but it looks different than the body of the coat and the collar and bottom.
