Hi all,
I have been collecting and wearing vintage pieces for over twenty years, and since the birth of my daughter and planning to start selling. I am looking for some advice about selling.
I am familiar with ebay, etsy and ruby lane but I am considering Wiseling for online and wondered if anyone sells there and if so, what there experience has been.
I am also considering, in addition to selling online, selling at a local high end antiques mall. It is in a very touristy part of town but also attracts high end shoppers. Most of what I buy are dresess - formal, cocktail and some day. I have seen a lot of vintage at antique malls but not much of this sort of thing. The booth space is expensive and small. I would like some advice to help guide my decision as to whether to move forward. Do you think dresses would sell well in an antiques mall kind of environment? There is already a seller in the space who sells accessories - hats, bags, gloves. So, that won't work plus it's not my main interest.
