On the frame of a 1960s purse the initials AL Co.
Does anyone know this mark? No other mark or name on the Kelly style purse.

I am really just taking a shot in the dark here, but because of the placement of the AL Co, I wonder if that may be the manufacturer of just the frame. I don't believe I have ever seen the handbag manufacturer's name at the frame hinge like that.
Could be. The name Adam Levine popped into my head but I realized that was the singer and not associated with Harry Levine purse maker. Too much multi tasking. Hoping by the closure possibly someone knows.

I have often seen marks on the frames of bags that were only the frame manufacturer, and not the bag manufacturer, and I also think that's the case here.
