Albert Nipon Label?

I was surprised to not find Albert Nipon label in the resource.
Does anyone know the Albert Nipon with suits on the label?
Most likely 1980s?

The Wall Street Journal has an article about the return of the power suit recently.
Armani is quoted in the article. What a hoot! Fashion almost always returns it seems.

I looked up Nipon the other day and found the difference in label age is attributed to the larger first initials in the first and last name. If I remember correctly, the letters have always been upper case. I wish I could remember where I read it!

Newer clothing is not my expertise, but I would say 80s or 90.

I have a wool jersey knit Nipon suit listed at magsrags.net that I dated as late 70s to early 80s.


The tag on mine has lower case letters except for the A and N.

Thank you all. I definitely think it is 1980s but wondered about the label.
If there was a special suit shop or something. It has an all over rose pattern.

I have a couple of Nipons -- are they all vintage? How recently did he produce garments? I will attempt to upload a couple of labels. I am attempting to date these garments. This is a wonderful resource and I hope I can learn from those who have some expertise with vintage clothing.
