Am I right that this is 20's?

I'm getting better and learning so much just reading this board, but I want to make sure that I am right about this lace dress being from the 20's. I've also pictured the sequin decoration on one hip. It's a real soft lace that I'm thinking is silk. Thanks, as always!

Ah thanks, they are diamantes or glass faceted stones, not sequins, and prong-set (rather than glued/sewn on) which is usually an indicator of some age. I think you're in the right area with 20's. I'm not familiar enough with the older clothing to narrow the dating I'll leave that to somebody else, I just wanted the closeups to confirm it wasn't a 80's/90's lookalike. (I see so many of these, usually in black or navy that are far more modern!)

Btw, is it a dress or a two piece top & skirt?

This definitely looks like silk lace it would be machine made lace. The color is so pretty.
I would say it is either very late 20s or early 1930s. I am sure you will get more opinions.

I have had many in black made of this type of lace, but the colored ones are more difficult to find.
