Amazing Pendleton Mens Plaid Suit

My mens line has grown huge and I am trying to get a better feel for time periods on my mens stuff, but I just do not yet feel I can confidently date everything since I am rather ignorant of subtle changes in suit and jacket styles through the years.

What might you think? 60s or 70s?

Are there any hints you may be willing to share about things to look for when searching out older mens suits?

The Pendleton label is blue and gold, but it just says Pendleton Woolen Mills 100% virgin wool, nothing else... camera battery is charging but if needed I can take a pic of the label. It is much more simple than the labels in the directory.

Love this suit... wish I could find more of them.

Please let me know your thoughts on the date, my guess is 60s, but Id like to confirm before posting it.

Thanks

Thank you so much! I am really enjoying the photography aspect of this etsy thing, so appreciate the feedback on the suit and photography *smile* 70s it is... I really love this suit. I have two more pieces to toss your way ibn a few with similar questions. Blazers are even harder for me to date than mens suits.

Thanks again,

Hey, is this a leisure suit? I mean it technically is, but since it is wool, do you think Leasure Suit is the best way to describe it?

I'm going to go against the grain and vote late '60s - an early '70s suit would have looser and more flared trousers. The pants here have a cleaner cut. It can be hard to tell the difference between late '60s and early '70s but this suit looks pretty classic '60s to me.

Your model is great too.
