American Maid Nightgown.. 1940s, 1950s, 1960s?

While researching this nightgown I found American Maid nightgowns online credited to the '40s, '50s & '60s. This gown does not have a Union Label. The only labels inside the nightgown are: a tiny "American Maid 36" tab, printed on both sides & too small to take an image of, and another tab which states, "Nylon Yarn".

I did find a listing very similar to this nightgown where the seller dated it in the 1960s, but it seems more 1950s to me. I would be grateful to hear some other opinions regarding date. Thank you!

Online listings are very unreliable for datings: sometimes it's like people have no idea!

I would date your nightgown as '50s. It has to be post '47 because it's nylon, but I've seen these styles go into the '60s. If you post photos of the labels it will help.

Thanks Nicole. Attached is an image of each label. Labels were "looped" with each edge sewn into the seam of the nightgown, so I had to cut one edge of each label to lay flat to shoot.
