an interesting vest

I saw a man wearing an interesting vest at lunch on Sun. Ok, the fact that he was wearing a 3-piece suit in LA was interesting in itself.

The vest had a notched collar on the front and a plain neck on the back. Any comments?

Was it a long plaid jacket or more of a slim cut?

notch collared vests have never gone out of style for western wear and for i guess you could call it urban church style. The gentleman's emporium has sold victorian/early 20th century repros for a long time i think too. Oh and of course in tuxes.

I think Ralph Lauren has some new notch collars.

Oh, I didn't mean it had to be western. Suits with long jackets with notched collars (non western wear) that are kinda loud have been made all along. Kinda like almost 3/4
