i don't know why i am so bad at hats - i have spent about 3 hours looking at books with no definitive answer and (without wishing to sound lazy) realise it would be much easier just to ask here...








thank you in advance - i have an awful lot more but think i will leave it at that for today! and sorry if it isn't quite on right - her hair is a bit of a pain as it's moulded.

I'm not a hat expert, but wasn't their a trend for moulded turban-y hats in the 50's. I keep thinking I've seen pics of ladies in New Look dresses with this kind of hat.

thanks connie - thinking about it i know what you mean, and that would make sense as i'm sure jonathan is correct with the other at that date.. and they came in a big lot from the same lady. don't even know whether it's worth listing this one? anyone else have any luck with hats?

do you think they have a season? (aside from winter!) . i suppose mid heat wave is not really the time to be marketing a felt turban affair but i've done a load of pictures now..
