And Now... Even More Bags

Honestly I didn't realize I had so many, and I did not photograph all the 1940s and 50s black box bags. It's obvious I like those! All these are ones I've just picked up to go with the dresses in my collection, and I only actually carry a few of them. All were gotten at thrifts, rummage sales, flea markets and antique markets.

Okay...

This is the first piece of vintage I ever bought. It came from my church's rummage sale, in about 1969, when I was 14. I paid a quarter for it.

I was going to say that I have no Gucci or LV either, but I found this Gucci at a thrift on Friday. The saleslady recognized it and really didn't want to let me have it, but her co-worker rang it up at $4.

When you teach school, you get all kinds of cute gifts! I have a whole room full of stuffed scotties, including this sweet little bag.

Lizzie! Those are all fabulous!! I'm really lovin' the little tile one. So neat!:love008:

Great collection, Lizzie. I especially like the silk print with plastic handle.

I, too, like seeing everyone's collection, Harriet. It's becoming a great resource.

Lovely to see Lizzie! I am especially loving the green bags. Well, shoot, they're all great! I really want to find me a magazine clutch but haven't been able to catch one in good shape at a reasonable price.

Shoes should be next. ;)
