Andy Warhol Souper Dress

Well hello everyone! It's been awhile since I have posted on here. How's everyone doing?? :hiya:

Now on to business. What would the a rough estimate of the value be on a 1960's paper Cambell's Souper Dress? I know someone who has one and is willing to sell it to me. I know that they are exspensive, but since it's way more than what I usually spend on one dress, I'd like to know. It has 2 holes in it (big enough to put one finger thru). It's not in the original box but seems to be in o.k. shape. I was just considering it and wanted a little more guidance before I handed over $200. :puzzled:
Any advice would be helpful
Thank you so so so much!!

(p.s. Please answer as quickly as possible. The woman tells me she has someone else looking at it and would only hold it for so long!!)

One just sold at Susanin's ( on ebay live - Campbell's Souper Dress) for $400, and not in the best condition. There's another with condition issues on running on ebay right now at about $150. And perfect one over $1000, reserve not met.

so it might not be a bad buy depending on how glaring those holes are and where they are located.

Although two perfect condition Souper dresses have sold at a New York catalogue auction in the 6000-7000 range, they were commonly going for between 200 and 600 on eBay until this past summer when they were, for some reason, constantly selling in the 1500 - 2500 range, but it seems all those people who wanted one have now gotten theirs and the prices have settled back down again. This time last year the competition was heating up with about 5 or 6 regular buyers of paper dresses but now 3 of those buyers have stopped buying for various reasons and the prices have gone back down. Keep in mind with these things - condition, condition, condition, are the three most important things to have.
