Animal Figural Jewelry Question

I realize I have a number of vintage animal figural jewelry pieces, mostly brooches, but I think I have some pendants, too. I know at one time these were very popular, but haven't looked around at them lately.

Are these still pretty collectible? I know I have a couple unusual pieces--one is a large goldtone with black enamel lizard of some sort--which I think should fetch a good price. But most are things like cats, dragonflies, butterfiles, at least one Scottie dog (those used to be really popular), and so forth.

Any help on this is appreciated! TIA!

I agree with Carrie's assessment. It depends on the piece - rarity, quality, era, construction - whether it's signed or not, etc. I think the market is fairly soft for animial figurals at the moment with the exception of rare pieces - and/or pieces that an avid collector cannot pass up! Pictures would definitely help.
