Another 2pc knit outfit-40s or 50s?

This one was a nightmare to photograph! Just not having any luck with pictures today.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is 40s or 50s? Feels similar to those St John santana knits, but with metallic threads.

Haven't a clue what kind of yarn this is. Definitely not wool.

Hmm...wondering if it is some type of acrylic/orlon (well...orlon would have been 60s..so no)?? or a rayon blend fiber?
