another 60s or 70s conundrum....purple mini dress with beading

jody, it's hard to say, It's not quite as well finished as the rest of the dress, but it's taped with a similar tape to the rest of the lining.

The hem also looks off to me. It looks like it was shortened.

This was probably full length at one time, in which case I'd say late 60s. Is the hem stitched by machine or hand?
