Another cardigan... \"chalkie\" knit
This one is a flat, tight knit. Unfortunately there isn't one darn label anywhere in it. It isn't hand made & I'm 99.9% sure the flowers are original to it.
I believe it to be a nylon blend of some sort. I *think* it's late 60's to mid 70's, but I don't want to shoot myself in the foot. Do any of you remember "Chalkie" Sweaters? They were very popular in the mid to late 60's as I recall. That's what this knit reminds me of.
It's a true dark black & the flowers are cotton - like trim you could buy (maybe still can) by the yard.
Each rhinestone is backed with a tiny metal flat stud.
I guess mainly, I'm going to wing it, but I am wondering what y'all may think about my guess at the dates?
