Another Deliso shoe

This pair of shoes has been consigned to me. My client swears that they were packed away with a a 40's wedding dress. I feel pretty sure that they aren't 40's, but what decade are they?

They look mid to late 1960's. At this time the toe shape is moving from an extreme point c.1960 toward a wide square by 1970.
I can't think of any earlier footwear that uses a fine nylon mesh - strings for straps yes, but not mesh fabric. The metallic threads used for the embroidery looks like a plastic foil too, rather than a metal wrapped thread you might find on earlier footwear.
The heel looks like hollow plastic, which you won't find on 1940's footwear.
Also, I think I can see words next to the manufacturer's stamps - if this is the material content you are definetly looking at late 1960's at the earliest.

It's worth mentioning a very similar style of shoe involving mesh uppers and a similar shape came back into fashion in the 80's/90's, but the later examples I've found didn't have the internal toe cap. Also by that point the inner sole lining tends to be a thin PVC rather than the paper based insole I can see yours is by the crease.

Very pretty, and yes, definitely late 1960s - 1966-69ish. I love that they are embroidered onto a flesh-coloured mesh. I don't think I have seen this technique this early before - its to make the shoes appear almost invisible when worn.
