Another Drool Worthy Dress needs help

This is the other 28 Shop Labeled Dress from Marshall Field and Company, this one also has a label that says Helga in it. I have done some research on Helga, known as Helga K. Oppenheimer, this top notch designer should be in our label resource but is not.

This one is silk and has green and gold glass beads on the bodice.
Thoughts, suggestions?

That is just beautiful and so well made! Is it chiffon? This dress has me drooling for sure.

Maybe you should put prom and cocktail dress and full skirt and......I'm no help, am I?

Linda, I started drooling when I saw it at a new place I discovered right down the road from me, I picked up two others with this same Marshall Fields label, I have to make sure to check this place out frequently because he told me that he had a lot more from the same estate. Maybe there will be a Ceil Chapman in the other stuff! Whee!

Is the fabric painted (the yellow & green)? If so then hand-painted would be a good keyword. Very fresh & Spring-like (and formal and prom).

OK, so I'm not a keyword savant-- but you never know when something someone says might illuminate the lightbulb over your head :)

I'm really not sure what the fabric is.

Silk Chiffon with a warp print? The pattern can be seen quite clearly on the other side. How about chiné effect floral warp printed fabric, I once had a warp printed dress but the fabric wasn't as sheer as this, any ideas?


I so wish there was a fabric sample book available.

Glad you like your diamond ring. Won't list anymore on Ebay until around Christmas of this year but am moving some to my VC Mall store and will try to add new ones every little bit.
 
Gorgeous dress! I can tell you, when I had a mannequin called Helga (and would refer to her in my descriptions) I got a <B>lot</b> of visitors searching 'Helga Dress'.
