Hi,
Yes, 1950's, and made of what looks like cello straw braid or cello yarn. Clover Lane hats can sometimes have the best old flowers on them, (I still look for those), and is a fairly nice "made up" brand name, middle of the road quality that was made for the average housewife with a small budget.
