Another jacket/tailcoat and a waistcoat - dating/info?

This is another waistcoat and jacket/tailcoat from the "costume box" I got at the auction. Any input would be great The waistcoat is made of silk and is very small. We initially thought it could be for a boy, but there are perspiration marks which have left some damage in the delicate fabric. Thanks!

Great find Tamzzyn - the "M" cut into the lapels is an early 19th century style. Can you tell if they're all hand sewn (I can see hand stitching in your photos) or any machine stitching?

I believe that it's all hand stitching
