Another mystery fur ... anyone have experience with sable fur for a possible ID?

Hi,

I've been shopping again, oops! ;-)

This time I've come across an unusual fur. Something that I've never seen before.

Was labelled as mink, but doesn't feel minky to me. It's quite soft feeling.

I'd be very grateful, as always, for any advice on the fur species of the coat.

Hi Sydcat! From the photos I'm thinking the guard hairs don't seem long enough to be sable? Looks to me like mink coats I've seen listed under color descriptors such as autumn haze/natural mink/whiskey/pastel. Just a guess, hope this helps!
