Antique costumes

I recently found this early 20th century magician stock poster and I am wondering if someone could help me with the correct date of the costumes, do they look 1920s or earlier?

Hi,

Costumes can be a difficult thing to date, as they are, well...costumes! Judging by the general look of the graphics, as well as the women's hair style, and the 1 woman's headress/bandeau, it could be earlier than the 1920's. The hair styles and head gear could be as early as 1913 to 1914. If I had to pin it down, I would say circa 1917-1918 just based on the general vibe I get.

Thanks for your response. I too thought it looked between 1910-19 but I have had other people tell me it is early 20s.

Oh Geez - it just occurred to me - I bet the flags represent the entente nations - France, Britain, Japan, Portugal, Brazil... and the USA joined spring 1917 around the same time Russia was falling apart, although I think Russia was still in the war until spring 1918. I don't see a German or Austrian flag in there so I bet that helps to date it better - so late 1917 - early 1918 would be about right.
