Antique Parasol/Umbrella

Would anybody be able to date this parasol? Is it worth anything?
We found it in my mother-in-law's house whilst clearing it.

These are hard to be too specific in dating, I think its 1870s, the canopy would be large if it was newer, and more likely folding if it was earlier, and the lace is not a feature you see on early parasols, which tend to be plainer.
