Hello my dad purchased this at a flea market already encased in the plexiglass so I am unable to examine the back. Wondering if anyone can help date and estimate value? Thank you.

It is lovely. Reminds me of mid 19th century, with that Greek Key pattern. Can you possibly show a close up? It looks as if it is strips of silk hand sewn to a netted back? Is that the case?

I agree with Barbara ( as I so often do) on the era. I am also curious if it's applique ribbon or fabric and if so, on what ground?
