Any advise for selling wholesale?

I have 150+ vintage clothing items dating 1930's-1950's. Where do you suggest I sell these? Most are nicely detailed day dresses, a few coats and embroidered sweaters. They are too good for a yardsale and my idea of doing an internet store never got started. Can you send me in the right direction for finding a suitable buyer? Thanks, Teresa

If I werent so busy with my stuff right now I would snatch you up on that offer!!! I am sure you will find someone here who will want them.. and if not e-bay is an alright way to go provided u are a seller on there already... if not you can post on craigslist... thats free and local people come to you... but unless u know html you can only put up 4 photos... or you can find a local vintage shop and take your stuff there and see what they will offer you for them....

thats jsut my personal opinion... like I said if I werent so busy I would make an offer on them... if you still got them in 3-4 weeks let me know :-) but I am sure u wont!

You will need to decide your price range on them, for one thing. Figure your cost invested and what your minimum is for sale.

I'm tempted, I can't lie about that!

Yes, I originally bought these to start an ebay store but I have to be realistic due to the fact I am downsizing for a move and can't take them with me no matter how much I like admiring their exquisite detailing and adorable fabrics. I'd love to hear from the Oregon member but, if not, I'm willing to ship. I really want these to go to someone who has experience with vintage clothing and knows how to handle them. They've made it this far and deserve to be in the right place. As for a price, you guys are in the business and know better than me, which is fair and how it should be. Considering all this, I paid $600 USD for them but will take $500 USD.

Coud you maybe post a few pictures of the items?

Thanks!

That's a good idea. I'm working on taking pictures today and will let you know when I have them. Thanks.
