Any idea of stone in these cufflinks?

Just for my own edification, I am wondering what you think this stone is - if anything? It is cold to touch so believe it isn't synthetic. Cufflinks only say "Pat Pend" on them - no maker. Backs are silver (color). I am pretty clueless and orginally thought maybe some sort of Tiger(s) Eye but was told that was probably wrong.

They would't show up in photos without flash. They are really a dark greenish color and black. They are kind of cool actually.

My first, off-the-top-of-my-head impression is that they are likely agate.

I adore men's cufflinks--these are really nice ones!

Looks like tiger eye to me, too.

But I see you say the actual color is green and black. Could it possibly be glass? (Stone is colder to the touch than glass, and if you look through a loupe at glass you may be able to see bubbles in it).

Tumblr: I like the ease of use for sure. I think it is hard to get followers though. It seems more geared toward people who just post pictures with zero informational or educational purpose. I am slowly but surely picking up followers but just a few each week.

I'm 100% sure.... It's yellow tiger eye, and it's a cheap type of stone.
