Any idea of the age of this Mexican silver brooch?

This is an interesting brooch. It is marked Made in Mexico and Sterling on the back. It would seem to be depicting an Aztec or Mayan warrior. Any idea as to age?

I am seeing late 1950s-early 1960s. I often think of the 40s pieces as having a little more heft than this appears to have.
